“Best Airbnb in Japan!! Honestly!”

The past year has been very difficult and we are still not out of the woods yet. That’s why I wanted to let you know that we have renovated our Airbnb property during this extended global crisis in anticipation of a bright future. The entire exterior of our private guesthouse has been redone. Inside, we have added double windows, sensor faucets and soap dispensers, and new sinks in the toilet and bath areas. Our guesthouse is highly recommended for those travelling with children as there is a lot of space both inside and outside the guesthouse. In addition to having a fully-equipped kitchen in the guesthouse, there is a large fruit and vegetable shop within 100 metres of the guesthouse entrance. Furthermore, we have recently installed high-speed internet in the guesthouse. Please read the following recommendations taken from our Airbnb listing:

Best Airbnb in Japan!! honestly! The apartment is very spacious, perfectly clean and well equipped. David and his lovely wife Naomi went out of their way to make our stay extra special with many unexpected perks for us and our young daughter. They are so generous and you can tell they are proud of their home and their beautiful region. Chuo is a good base camp to discover a lot around and David has all the info you need for whatever your interest. We really appreciated having someone to explain every detail in English. Our hiking/trekking highlights were Mount Minobu, Mount Fuji, and Nishizawa keikoku gorge, but so much more to discover culturally. You have everything you need within walking distance (supermarket, good restaurants, drug store, shopping center, etc) but I would recommend a car to enjoy the most of what the area has to offer. David also provide bikes which was really cool. If you explore a bit, there is a lot to do around with these (bike paths are along the rivers and several parks). We have been there 8 nights and it felt like 3! The region has so much to offer and it’s so nice to discover it off the traditional tourist route. I recommend it all the way, and for a long stay as well. Thanks again for everything David and Naomi!”  Lisa Marie, June 2019

David’s place was the best AirBnb we stayed at in Japan. David and his wife are incredible hosts and went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. They are passionate about the region and helped us plan daily activities and get the most out of our time in the area. The house is spacious, clean and comfortable. It’s a great place to get away from the cities and crowds for a few nights. Would highly recommend.”  Ross, July 2019

What a delightful airbnb experience! David’s cottage was private, spacious, spotlessly clean, functional, modern. It had one of those fancy Japanese toilets, crisp sheets and lovely scented pillows, a fine selection of tea and other thoughtful touches. I loved soaking in the bathtub in the evening after borrowing their bike for the day. But the highlight was the considerate and attentive care I received from David, his wife and family (who live next door) and who helped me extensively and selflessly on several occasions. My stay there will a be fondly remembered and I’m grateful. Thank you 🙂  Pete, October 2019

“First Guest since COVID-19. I contacted David hours before I planned to arrive to see if his place was available. Not only did he respond right away, his contact was instant for my entire stay. David helped plan our short fused getaway with a fun filled day. Greeted by the whole family including Hannah(dog) our favorite! Upon arrival. Easy place to find, plenty of things to do and David has the perfect place for a family to go Enjoy some off the beaten path of Japan. We really want to go back just to see them again. I would rate this a 6 of 5 if I could. Thank you for such a great weekend David. – Davis Family”  NickMarch 2021
